This database presents hearing thresholds for low-frequency tones, for young and older adults separately in graphical form.

Parameters

Instruction
(1) Listeners

Select "Young adults" or "Older adults".

(2) Frequency

Input a frequency in integer from 10 Hz to 160 Hz.

About this database

This database presents medians of hearing thresholds in decibels for 51 young adults aged 18–25 years and 22 older adults aged 61–83 years, both being otologically normal. The 5th and 95th percentiles show the magnitude of individual differences in threshold.
